UNEXPLODED ORDINANCE

The OPERA meeting held on 25th January 2016 concerned unexploded ordinance near industrial
risks. This concerns not just bombs dropped during the last world war, but the vast amount of material dumped into the sea by the military. The quantity dumped in UK waters is staggering and I am sure the situation is similar for the former Soviet Union. Unexploded bombs in the European part of Russia, in Ukraine and Belarus are also a concern.
