OPERA – CORROSION UNDER INSULATION

James Rosenshine of the Corrosion Radar made an interesting presentation to OPERA on 14^th September 2021 about the continuous Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) monitoring technology that his company sells. By the use corrosion and moisture sensors permanently embedded below the insulation on pipes and vessels, the system can detect and predict corrosion.

This seems to be an important tool in dealing with the very real problem of Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI), which affects so many plants throughout the world.
