HYDROGEN AND AMMONIA

Hydrogen, and to a lesser extent ammonia, are widely spoken about in the climate change debate. Hence, it was relevant that Darren Malik of Baker Risk spoke on the subject “Hydrogen and Ammonia – the Unique Safety Challenges” at the OPERA meeting on 12^th October 2021. The main benefits of hydrogen and ammonia are as energy carriers. Whereas ammonia is toxic, it is less flammable than hydrogen, is easier to transport and has a greater energy density.
