eVISION ELECTRONIC WORK PERMITS

     eVision presented to OPERA’s members its computerised system for work permits, which has been adopted by several large oil companies, including Shell. Work permit systems are inevitably being computerised and the eVision programme is a good example of what is available.

The programme will not make a poor work permit system good, but can make a good system more efficient. It can accommodate local regulations and so could be adopted for use in the former Soviet Union where the safety inspectorates have stringent requirements. 08/03/2016
